Fettercairn 16 Year Old is the 2nd release of this annual release. This expression is aged for 16 years in a trilogy of first-fill Oloroso casks, refill Oloroso casks, and rare first-fill Palo Cortado sherry butts. This is a limited release for 2021 and bottled at a strength of 46.4% abv. The result is a whisky with Tropical fruits that lead the palate with ripe mango, citrus zest, apricots and raisins balanced with walnut, mocha and liquorice.
