The Macallan 12 Year Old Triple Cask Matured is the first whisky in the triple cask matured range, which also includes 15 and 18 year old expressions: the triple cask was previously known as the fine oak range. Matured in three cask types namely European and American sherry seasoned oak casks and American ex-bourbon oak casks, this whisky is both smooth and complex. The result is a whisky bursting with citrus fruits, vanilla and fresh oak.
