Ron Abuelo 12 Year Old is a dark rum from Panama. The 12 year old is the distillery's flagship rum and it is matured in ex whisky barrels. The result is a rum that is rich elegant and slightly smoky.

The palate echoes the nose delivering layers of baked fruits, caramel, brown baking spices and spicy dry oak.

Panamanian Rum Swizzle
Number of Servings: 1 Pitcher
INGREDIENTS
4 oz Ron Abuelo 12 Year Old Rum
4 oz Ron Abuelo Anejo Rum
8 oz Pineapple juice
8 oz Orange juice
.75 oz Grenadine
6 dashes Angostura Bitters
METHOD
1. Fill a pitcher a third of the way with crushed ice and add all the ingredients.
2. Churn vigorously until frothing (or shake in a large shaker) and strain into 4 rocks glasses filled with fresh ice.
3. Garnish each with an orange slice, a pineapple cube and a cherry.
