The Glenturret Peated Edition, builds on the unpeated Glenturret spirit by adding the heavily peated style of their Ruadh Maor expression. The result is a whisky that delivers notes of smoke and light spice, with ripe fruit and smokey peat flavours. This unique whisky is lovingly crafted in small batches of hand selected casks at Scotland's Oldest Working Distillery.

Pale Lemon Gold
Peat smoke entwined with thick citrus fruits. A layered whisky which teases the nose on all levels. A definite smoke note that drifts in intensity to show toasting from the cask yet the richness of burning peat in an open fire. The resident toffee apple is playful yet respectful. Clean oak runs almost parallel throughout but is understated. Some hints of vanilla and light spices.
Sweet and spice, vanilla is thicker yet works well with maturing fruits, akin to a bowl of fruit. Ginger flits in and out, almost in a bed of peat. The peat is subtle initially but develops depth with a hint of smokiness. The oak itself is very soft reminding us of the importance of the distillery spirit.
