Tomintoul “With A Peaty Tang” is an unusual Speyside whisky, that uses a peated malt barley to give it a deep smoky flavour. The majority of Speyside whiskies use unpeated barley and their style is more fruity, spicy or sherried, while this whisky is more akin to the Islay peated style.
