Oban The Night’s Watch, a collection of eight single malt Scotch whiskies, is part of the Game of Thrones Collection from Diageo. To commemorate the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones, Diageo has collaborated with HBO to release this limited edition. Each whisky is inspired by a House of Westeros or the Night’s Watch.
The Oban distillery is situated beneath a steep cliff that overlooks the bay, separating land from sea, much like Castle Black separates Westeros from the unknown beyond The Wall and the formidable forces of the Night King. Bottled at 43% abv, this limited edition is a must-have for fans of the series.

TASTING NOTES
NOSE
On the nose this Oban has aromas of hay and tangy savoury aromas, but calms into cocoa and Morello cherries.
TASTE
On the palate there are instant flavours of dark berry pie and liquorice. Toasted oak joins the fray, and citrus and cloves add a lighter touch.
FINISH
The finish brings back those cherries and dark fruits, alongside a hint of savoury.
