Embark on a connoisseur's journey with our tutored whisky tasting Sessions!

Refine your palate and deepen your appreciation for scotch whisky with our meticulously curated tutored tasting sessions, now available at our store located at 32 St John Street, Perth, PH1 5SP.

Immerse yourself in an expert-led exploration of over 14 different flights, meticulously designed to encompass the rich tapestry of scotland's whisky regions. Each flight features three carefully chosen whiskies that are representative of the particular region.

Tasting sessions are available from 11:00 am - 16:00, Monday to Saturday,

  • Drams by the glass available for a tailored tasting.
  • Ideal for individuals and groups (up to 10 people).
  • Perfect for corporate events and friendly gatherings.
  • Private sessions are available from 18:00 - 21:00 booking required

Our current tasting flights are as follows:

Campbeltown Classic. £18

Campbeltown Loch - A blended single malt whisky which contains 100% Campbeltown whiskies.
Glen Scotia Double Cask - A mixture of Bourbon Casks and Pedro Ximenez Casks - a classic Campbeltown character
Longrow - Named after another lost distillery of Campbeltown, Longrow was first produced in 1973 to provide a peaty, oily and robust component to a blend being created at the time.

Campbeltown Premium £25

Springbank 10 - The perfect introduction to the Springbank range. Matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks.
Glen Scotia 15 - American Oak Cask matured, giving a complex yet sweet taste of Campbeltown.
Kilkerran Heavily Peated - Produced in the Glengyle Distillery, the peat in this dram is prolific yet well integrated.

Campbeltown Deluxe £32

Springbank 15 - Like a storm gathering off the Kintyre coast, this 15 year old Springbank is dark and ominous, but delicious.
Hazelburn 15 - Making full use of all three stills, Hazelburn is triple distilled and unpeated resulting in a spirit that is creamy, delicate and light. The Hazelburn 15 Years is an annually released limited edition matured exclusively in Oloroso Sherry casks.
Glen Scotia Victoriana - Elegant and complex, rich and robust.


Speyside Classic £18

Aberlour 12 - Double matured in American Oak casks and Sherry Oak casks, this dram is perfectly balanced with fruit and spice.
Tomintoul Seiridh - Fully matured in Oloroso Sherry casks, Tomintoul Seiridh is a rich and complex dram.
Benromach 10 - Small batches of whisky are distilled by hand, using the finest barley malted with a touch of peat smoke.

Speyside Premium £22

Glenallachie 12 - Sherry cask matured, the Glenallachie 12 year old is full bodied with sweet fruity notes - a true easy drinker.
Craigellachie 13 - The distillery is known for its meaty character, and the 13-year-old is sweet, spicy and slightly smoky.
Tamdhu 12 - Exclusively matured in Sherry Oak casks.

Speyside Deluxe £30

Mortlach 14 - Originally released as a travel retail exclusive, this Mortlach 14 Year Old has been nicknamed Alexander's Way in honour of the distillery's former owner, Alexander Cowie.
Tomintoul Cigar Malt - A combination of Sherry Cask and Peated Tomintoul, creating a bold and complex Cigar Malt.
Craigellachie 17 - Crafted from a rarer blend of casks, Craigellachie 17 is a classic robust and distinct Whisky style, smooth and mellow in flavour with rich silky notes of exotic fruits.

Highland Classic £18

Glencadam 10 - This Brechin located distillery produces delicate and mellow spirit that when matured, creates a sweet and fruity character whisky.
Glengoyne 12 - A perfect balance of rich and citrus, sweet and delicate spice.
Balblair 12 - Matured in American Oak ex-bourbon and double fired American oak casks, bringing elegant complexity and warmth.

Highland Premium £25

Royal Brackla 12 - “The King’s Own Whisky” - Granted first Royal Warrant by King William IV in 1833.
Aberfeldy 15 - This dram has been finished in Semillon wine casks, giving a sweeter finish to the usual heather, honey Aberfeldy character.
Edradour 12 - Caledonia Edradour is a special single cask release, selected by songwriter Dougie Maclean and named after his famous song, Caledonia. Initial maturation in Bourbon casks followed by an Oloroso Finish of 4-5 years.

Highland Deluxe £30

GlenDronach 15 - Matured in both Pedro Ximenes and Oloroso Sherry casks, resulting in a rich, sweet dram.
Glenturret Triple Wood - Previous Whisky of the year winner, a mixture of American and European oak sherry seasoned casks alongside Bourbon barrels has been used to create this bottling.
Macallan 12 Double cask - Matured in both Sherry seasoned American and European Oak Casks, creating a perfectly balanced rich, fruity character.

Islay Classic £18

Caol Ila 12 - Beautifully measured and mellow smokiness with a rich array of seaside flavours.
Kilchoman Machir Bay - Bourbon and Sherry cask matured, this dram has bursts of tropical fruit and dried sultanas.
Bowmore 12 - Subtle lemon and sweet heather honey complement Bowmore’s trademark peat smoke, leading to a delicious, long and mellow finish.

Islay Premium £25

Lagavulin 9 Game of Thrones - Matured in first-fill ex-Bourbon casks, this limited edition Lagavulin has waves of intense smoke in every sip.
Ardbeg Uigeadail - Matured in a mixture of ex American Bourbon and ex Oloroso Sherry casks. This sweet and spicy dram will be sure to warm your palate.
Laphroiag Quarter Cask - Twice aged to amplify deep peat and add a surprising sweetness. Contact with the wood of smaller quarter-sized casks makes it a very lively expression.

Islay Deluxe £32

Lagavulin 16 - A classic Islay dram offering richness and a dryness that turns it into a truly interesting tipple.
Laphroaig Lore - Laphroaig’s richest and most complex expression.
Bunnahabhain Abhainn Araig - This limited edition Matured in ex-Bourbon and PX sherry octave casks to create an unpeated, sherried, bold and complex dram.

Lowland Classic £18

Lochlea Our Barley- Our Barley is the first single malt to join the distillery's core range. Matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-Oloroso sherry casks, as well as shaved, toasted and re-charred barriques.
Kingsbarns Doocot - Doocot very much embodies the signature Kingsbarns style, but with additional time in cask to develop and mature. Made from whisky aged in 90% bourbon barrel and 10% STR (shaved, toasted and re-charred) casks, Doocot has kept the Kingsbarns code by creating a sweet, creamy, and moreish dram.
Lindores MCDXCIV - This is the first public release from the Lindores Abbey Distillery. Matured in a selection of Bourbon Barrels, Wine Barriques and Sherry Butt, this classic Lowland malt shows a great light and fruity character.

Lowland Premium £25

Lindores COL Sherry- This limited bottling spent its entire maturation in oloroso sherry butts sourced from the area surrounding Jerez in Spain and is a nod to the core range of casks used at the distillery.
Ailsa Bay – This edition from Ailsa Bay has gone through a micro-maturation process - one that sees the spirit first filled into smaller-than-average bourbon casks for six to nine months, a process which accelerates maturation before it is then transferred into more traditional casks for several years.
Bladnoch Vinaya - Matured in a unique combination of first-fill Bourbon and first-fill Sherry casks, this Lowland malt has a sweet and floral character.
