Tamnavulin Double Cask, a part of the Tamnavulin core collection, perfectly encapsulates the unique taste of this single malt. It’s a revelation from the Speyside Valley, characterised by its sweet, mellow, and smooth character.
The Double Cask undergoes a unique maturation process. It starts in ex-American oak barrels and then finishes in Sherry oak barrels, imparting a sweet, toffee-like flavour.
The distillery is nestled in the picturesque rural village of Tomnavulin, situated on the banks of the Corrie Stream and the River Livet. The distillery draws its water from an underground spring in the Easterton Hills. This water is a result of snowmelt from the surrounding mountains and undergoes natural filtration through ancient limestone rock.
Available in a 700ml bottle, at 40% abv.
