Aberfeldy 15 Year Old, Limited Edition Semillon Wine Cask Finish, Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky is from the Aberfeldy Distillery known for its "Golden Dram" a name that refers to the deposits of gold found on the land on which the distillery is built. This expression was matured initially in a mix of refill barrels and refill Hogsheads, then finished in Cadillac sweet white wine casks. The casks bestow yellow fruits, floral notes, citrus. Bringing a balance of opulence and freshness.

At the beginning there are clearly bright stone fruits such as nectarines, peaches and apricots, followed by ripe oranges and again the floral notes - above all the fudge and caramel with a slight spice in the background
FINISH
Long, gentle and soft finish - again the bright fruits, now more spice - clearly cinnamon and some caramel too.
