TASTING NOTES

NOSE

The aroma opens with a vibrant burst of vanilla and toasted coconut, a direct influence of the 2nd fill virgin oak. Layers of caramelized fruit, notably baked apples and pears, weave through, complemented by a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg, adding warmth and depth to the bouquet.

TASTE

On the palate, this whisky reveals a rich tapestry of flavors. The vanilla sweetness observed on the nose deepens, merging with the spicy warmth of oak. Notes of orange zest and dark chocolate emerge, balanced by a subtle oak-driven tannin that adds structure without overwhelming the spirit's natural character.

FINISH

The finish is long and warming, with the spiciness of the oak lingering alongside the residual sweetness of caramel and a nuanced hint of fresh-cut timber. It leaves a lasting impression of complexity and craftsmanship, characteristic of Bruichladdich's meticulous cask selection process.
