Bunnahabhain’s Stiùireadair, pronounced Stew-rah-dur, is a single malt that pays homage to the distillery’s shoreline on the northeast coast of Islay. To create Stiùireadair, first and second fill sherry casks are selected, along with spirits of varying ages and warehouse locations. This process allows the dram to truly showcase the coastal nature of Bunnahabhain single malt whisky, while still retaining the sherry influence that everyone knows and loves in the renowned 12-year-old.
