
Cù Bòcan, a single malt whisky, is meticulously distilled in small batches every winter at the Tomatin Distillery.
Cù Bòcan is a mythical hellhound, has haunted the residents of the village of Tomatin for centuries. As a tribute to this legendary creature, the Tomatin distillery created this lightly peated whisky.
This is the seventh limited edition in the Cù Bòcan Creation Series. For this release, Pineau des Charentes Rouge casks have been combined with Virgin Oak, adding layers of fruit to Cù Bòcan’s signature gentle sweet smoke.
The result is a single malt whisky described by the distillery as “rhubarb and custard” with notes of strawberry gummy bears shortbread and soft peat smoke. Only 3,000 bottles of Creation #7 are available, 1,400 of which are in the UK.
Available in 700ml bottles at 46% abv.
