Fettercairn 16 Year Old is the 3rd release of this annual release. This expression is aged for 16 years in a trilogy of Oloroso, Pedro Ximenez and Ex-Bourbon Casks. This is a limited release for 2022 and bottled at a strength of 46.4% abv. The result is a whisky with Tropical fruits that lead the palate with syruped figs, ripe guave and raisins with a finish of baked apple.

TASTING NOTES
APPEARANCE
Amber gold with sunrise flecks.
NOSE
Dried exotic fruits, lightly syruped figs, grapefruit and notes of mature oak.
TASTE
Sunkissed raisins, ripe guava, patisserie spices and cocoa qualities elaborated with a crescendo of natural vanilla.
FINISH
The finish encompasses moist ginger cake, passion fruit, baked apple, underpinned with gentle notes of roasted coffee.
