Distillery Facts:
Situated six miles southwest of Elgin is Pluscarden Abbey. Initially a Priory, it was founded by King Alexander II in 1230. The Miltonduff distillery is said to be situated on the site of the Abbey's meal mill.

Miltonduff 10 year old is independently bottled by Gordon & MacPhail for the Discovery series. This bottling is catergorised in their "sherry" range.

TASTING NOTES

NOSE

Toffee apples, rum-soaked raisins and fresh malt.

TASTE

Chocolate and butterscotch bring sweetness, while a touch of clove gives it some well-needed warmth.

FINISH

Blackberry jam and cinnamon.
