Tamnavulin Sherry Cask, one of the distillery’s core bottlings, undergoes a unique maturation process. Initially, it ages in ex-American oak barrels, then transitions to three distinct types of Spanish ex-Sherry casks. This combination imparts the distinctive sweet, mellow, and smooth flavour characteristic of Tamnavulin.
The distillery is nestled in the picturesque rural village of Tomnavulin, situated along the banks of the Corrie Stream and the River Livet. Their water source is an underground spring located in the Easterton Hills. This water originates from snowmelt cascading down the surrounding mountains and undergoes a natural filtration process through ancient limestone rock.
Available in a 700ml bottle, at 40% abv.
