The Botanist Gin is made at Bruichladdich Distillery on the banks of Loch Indaal on the Isle of Islay. Established in 1881, the distillery has been an integral part of the community. Nine classic gin botanicals are complemented by 22 local herbs and flowers to create a rich and mellow spirit.
Available in a 700ml bottle, at 46% abv.
TASTING NOTES
Rich and mellow, cool on entry then warming across the palate, stimulating the taste buds with a round mouthfeel and citrus freshness. The balance and complexity are distinctive. Sweet and earthy notes combine with the delicate floral and herbal notes of the Islay 22. Each sip reveals deeper layers and more complex combinations of delicate flavours.
