The Singleton of Dufftown’s “Sublimely Smooth” is an 18-year-old whisky produced by Dufftown Distillery. This malt is a blend of refill ex-Bourbon casks and Pedro Ximenez Oloroso seasoned casks, resulting in rich fruitcake flavours complemented by roasted nuts and dark toffee.
Available in a 700ml bottle, at 40% abv.
TASTING NOTES
APPEARANCE
Deep amber or burnt orange.
NOSE
Soft, warming and lusciously fruity, lots of flavour, vanilla sweetness, toffee apples, cocoa beans.
TASTE
Creamy, vanilla sweetness, aniseed, rich juicy fruit and peppermint.
FINISH
Long and spicy, cinnamon and apricot.
