Introducing Ardbeg Trudernish 15, a new addition to the range. A combination of 15 year old Ardbeg matured in bourbon, new charred oak, and oloroso sherry casks. Layers of gentle smoke, earthy peaty notes and vanilla creaminess. The oloroso cask maturation adds welcome richness and body to this well matured Islay dram. Named after a small, older settlement on Islay, just north of the distillery.

Available in 70cl bottles at 48.8% alcohol by volume.

APPEARANCE

Straw Gold

NOSE

A soft wave of earthy peat and gentle woodsmoke is wrapped in rich vanilla cream, evoking the scent of melted vanilla ice cream with fudge sauce.

TASTE

Classic notes of soft pine, woodsmoke and damp forest floor lead into dark liquorice, chocolate lime, and a touch of herbal mint. More soft orchard fruits and floral sweetness are paired with a nuts wrapped into milk chocolate. The texture silky, with the vanilla running like a thread through each layer.

FINISH

Long and soothing, with peat embers, vanilla pod and toasted nuts lead into a long and smoky finish.
