It’s matured in a combination of American oak casks previously used for bourbon and European oak casks previously used for sherry. With an ABV of 46%, it offers a long smooth finish making it a standout choice for those who appreciate complexity and depth in their dram. Available in a 700ml bottle, at 46% abv.

Fruit in abundance- apples, peach and just a touch of smoke.

TASTE

Fruit cake, spiced ginger, nutmeg and more apples.

FINISH 

Slightly dry and pleasantly bitter.

    Not come across Curious Whiskies before, but Craigellachie is an excellent whisky, and a 15yo for this price seemed a win/win. Would say it perhaps lacks a little depth of flavour but it is a very pleasing, mellow dram. The key point here is the price. It is widely priced at somewhere between £70 & £90 online, this is £53. That represents superb value for money and is well worth a purchase
