This flagship whisky, first introduced in 2021 and officially named The Draam in 2025, boasts a unique six-cask recipe crafted by Master Distiller Alasdair Day. Two distinct Isle of Raasay spirits—peated and unpeated—are matured separately in first fill Rye whiskey, fresh Chinkapin oak, and first fill Bordeaux red wine casks. These six recipe casks harmonise to create an exquisite dram, exuding elegance, complexity, and a profound character.
Available in a 700ml bottle, at 46.4% abv.

TASTING NOTES
APPEARANCE
Honey-Gold with Red Hues
NOSE
Fragrant, aromatic wood smoke alongside ripe dark berries—like dark cherries and blackberries—complemented by warming sweet spice, black pepper, and a rich vanilla underpinning.
TASTE
A delicate blend of fragrant peat and rich dark fruit (apricot, blackcurrant, and hints of plum). This is supported by notes of honeycomb, butterscotch, and lemon cheesecake, ending with a warm, spicy cinnamon kick.
FINISH
Medium length and peppery with a slight tingle. It rounds out with a distinctive menthol freshness, sandalwood, and a delicate, lingering hint of coastal saltiness.
