Distillery Facts:: In 1872 William Mitchell founded Glengyle Distillery and built it one year later. The Mitchell brothers were the uncrowned whisky kings of Campbeltown. John and his son Alexander ran Springbank Distillery just a few metres away from Glengyle.

This 2026 release of Kilkerran 16 Year Old has been matured in 100% Sherry casks, giving a rich colour to this highly sought after dram.

Expect notes of chocolate mousse and Medjool dates with a touch of ash on the finish.

APPEARANCE

Dark Caramel

NOSE

It begins with a herbal note of tobacco & tomato leaf, followed by fruity aromas of rhubarb, blackberries & orange.

TASTE

Notes of chocolate mousse and Medjool dates are revealed on the palate alongside brown sugar and blackcurrants.

FINISH

This ends with refreshing mint leaf, salted raisin & hazelnut dark chocolate and a touch of ash.
