Lindores 1494, the distillery's signature malt whisky, has been matured in a selection of Bourbon Barrels, Wine Barriques and Sherry Butts.
The barley used in its production is grown in the same fields where the monks of Lindores once cultivated their crops, and the orchard of fruit trees that surrounds the abbey finds its way into the whisky’s flavour profile. Distilled through distinctive ‘sister’ spirit stills and bottled on site by the Lindores team, 1494 is a spirit reborn in the Kingdom of Fife.
Available in a 700ml bottle, at 46% abv.
