Benriach The Smoky Twelve, a new expression in the rebranded Benriach core range, builds upon the distillery’s expertise in using malted barley smoked with Highland peat. This wood-rich Highland peat imparts distinctively sweet and smoky notes into the whisky. Matured for at least 12 years in three distinct cask types—bourbon barrels, sherry casks, and Marsala wine casks—the result is a smooth, creamy single malt with a multi-layered flavour profile featuring ripe fruit, aromatic smoky sweetness, and warming oak spice.
