Watson’s Trawler Rum, a blend of fully matured dark rums from Barbados and Guyana, is matured in oak casks. The company that owns the brand, based in Scotland, final blends and bottles the rum. The result is a rum bursting with character and flavour, especially great if you enjoy it with cola.

TASTING NOTES
The profile is mostly cocoa (not chocolate as it is slightly bitter) but it has a fruity taste as well. A little bit of raisin or currants. In terms of ageing it is not known how long that has spent in the cask, however it doesn’t exhibit any oakiness which can be common in some older Demerara rums.
Serving Suggestions: Good enough to drink neat or with cola and some ice.
